One of the world's largest steam locomotives has several stops in a few locations during this historic journey, drawing crowds from near and far. I was among the many observers who got a rare glimpse of Big Boy in motion -- hearing the bells and whistles, seeing the steam, feeling the rumble, enjoying the excitement and camaraderie -- and having mere seconds to photograph it as it quickly roared by.
