Many people love to visit Holy Hill Basilica and National Shrine of Mary near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, especially in the fall when the leaves are most vivid. I missed peak color and it was dark and gloomy outside, so I originally thought I would stay home. Then, I learned it was the last day of the season to climb the tower, so I took a drive eastward on I-94. Turns out, the dried up leaves, dreary sky, slight drizzly, and cold wind were just what I needed for a cool photograph and exciting afternoon!
