Artist's Description

This "Super Blood Wolf Moon" total lunar eclipse was photographed in Madison, Wisconsin on January 20, 2019 during our frigid winter -- minus 8 degrees fahrenheit. The cold temps delivered clear skies, perfect to shoot the moon. This composite shows various stages of earth's shadow hiding its celestial satellite.
